All that glitters...

...well it doesn't glitter yet but it will be real gold when it does. All those brown/beige bits will be gold when the shoes are fired. I've been working on my six current Klimt pairs of shoes. I can only paint a tiny section of each shoe at a time before I have to allow them to dry so that I don't risk smudging the lustre. It's very, very time consuming work. I'm also waiting on delivery of some enamel transfers that I've designed and had printed and will apply these to one pair of the shoes. Like the gold and platinum lustres the enamels will melt into the surface of the glaze when the shoes are fired.
